Southern Tepehuan tribe, Mexico (November 19th, 2008): More than 80 people were treated this month by a visiting dentist. The clinic revealed one of the Southern Tepehuans' fears. Southern Tepehuan tribe, Mexico (November 4th, 2008): A dental clinic among the Southern Tepehuan people this week gave missionaries another opportunity to minister to the people. "These dental clinics are a big reason why the people are willing to have us live in their village," wrote Barry and Candy Wingo. Please pray that serving the people in this physical way will build relationships and open doors to meeting their spiritual needs.

 

Mexicanero tribe, Mexico (October 21st, 2008): Jonathan and Rachel Willcock are helping a new team of missionaries with the first steps of starting a ministry among a people group. Southern Tepehuan tribe, Mexico (October 14th, 2008): Missionaries Andrew and Anne Marie Ferguson had a decision to make. After praying and consulting a doctor, their decision to wait proved to be the right one and a boy with a possible scorpion bite recovered. Tepehuan tribe, Mexico (October 13th, 2008): Due to the closing of an airstrip, missionaries will have to drive out of the village to get the dentists for an upcoming dental clinic. Please pray that an airstrip will open and for safe travel for the missionaries and dentists, whether or not the strip opens.

 

Guarijio tribe, Mexico (October 10th, 2008): This week missionary Terry Reed and his Guarijio co-worker Santos began working on translation and developing questions to determine the Guarijio's understanding of Acts 1-14. Please pray that the translation and questions will be clear.

 

Guarijio tribe, Mexico (September 24th, 2008): Amado's mistake almost cost him his life, but he now has another chance to hear about the One who gives real life. Mexico (September 18th, 2008): Thank the Lord with us that a judge has declared missionary pilot John Van Wormer free of all charges, and that the plane he was flying will be returned. Thank you for praying! Find out more -- read the story >>

 

Mexico (September 15th, 2008): This week, a judge is expected to decide whether to dismiss charges regarding missionary pilot John Van Wormer. John was detained on Sept. 8 after landing on an allegedly closed airstrip. Please pray that charges will be dismissed. Find out more -- read the story >>

Mexico (August 12th, 2008): David and Sherri Pryor are Mexico-bound, heading out to begin their year of culture and language study in the city before beginning a tribal ministry. Please pray for them as they learn of and adapt to the new lifestyle ahead of them.

 

Tarahumara tribe, Mexico (July 23rd, 2008): A work team from Nebraska is working in Mexico to do projects for the Tarahumara people and the missionaries working among them. Western Tarahumara tribe, Mexico (July 18th, 2008): Juana, a 28-year old woman, shared with other believers what God taught her after she participated in a Tarahumara "religious" ceremony. Please pray that she and her fellow believers will continue to grow in their walk with the Lord. Find out more -- read the story >>

 

Guarijio tribe, Mexico (July 9th, 2008): Evangelistic teaching began among the Guarijio people last Sunday. Missionary Dennis Bender reports that 35 Guarijios listened to the introductory lesson and were delighted to hear teaching in their own language. Pray that they will clearly understand the message and desire to know Christ.

 

Mexico (July 8th, 2008): Missionaries Crystal Pierce and Amy Heckman are enroute to Mexico. They are excited to see God use them to be a part in reaching tribal people who have never heard the Gospel. Pray for Crystal and Amy as they begin partnership development and make plans for their future ministry in Mexico.
