Paraguay (October 24th, 2008): Missionaries Dean and Nellie Goddard and Mike and Trisha Goddard are involved in mobilizing Paraguayan churches to be involved in tribal missions. They recently held a seminar to receive input from area pastors. Pray for the mobilization team as they plan and carry out the next forum with other pastors in the area. Nivaclé tribe, Paraguay (September 26th, 2008): Unable to find a place to live among the Nivaclé people, Shaun and Melanie Humphreys were disappointed. Manjui tribe, Paraguay (August 20th, 2008): A Manjui believer gave up her rights to a goat to give her aunt a chance to hear the Gospel. Praise God for this believer's response to the Holy Spirit. Ayore tribe, Paraguay (August 1st, 2008): An Ayore couple -- Ajitai and Gata -- have moved to a remote village to teach God's Word. Pai Tavy Tera tribe, Paraguay (July 14th, 2008): Missionaries Mike and Trisha Goddard are leading a team of 10 on a short-term mission trip to the Pai Tavy Tera tribe. Pray for the safety of the team and that hearts will be challenged to be a part of the work in Paraguay.

 

Ayore tribe, Paraguay (June 24th, 2008): Please pray for Ayore missionaries Ajitai and his wife, Gata, who have moved to another village to do evangelistic Bible teaching. Paraguay (June 12th, 2008): Missionaries Dean and Nellie Goddard are rejoicing that a project that was the focus of their ministry for the past seven years is now complete. The finished product consists of 28 booklets -- about 1,800 pages -- of Bible lessons in the Guarani language. Please pray that the lessons will bring many to a strong relationship with Christ.

Ayoré tribe, Paraguay (May 28th, 2008): The Ayoré church recently commissioned Ajitai and his wife, Gata, as missionaries to go to another distant community. Please pray for this couple as they make the move and get established in their new home. Pray that they will make good relationships with the people and find a good reception for presenting the Gospel.

Manjui tribe, Paraguay (May 12th, 2008): Please pray for missionary Gordie Hunt and his son, Jamie, as they work with their Manjui co-workers to apply procedures they learned at a recent translator's workshop. Gordie is doing a comprehension check on the book of John and then will do a content check of Luke while Jamie does a content check of John.
